Our experienced technicians repair all types of cooling systems, with 24/7 emergency service available when a breakdown cannot wait.
If you’re experiencing any of these issues, it’s time to give our technicians a call:
- Your A/C is blowing warm air or no air at all
- The unit cycles on and off frequently
- You hear banging, grinding, or rattling noises
- Your home feels unusually humid or stuffy
- You see water pooling or evidence of a leak near the unit
We’ll diagnose the problem, explain your options, and recommend the right fix – no upselling, no guesswork.
A/C Maintenance
Reliable Comfort Starts With Routine Care

Too often, homeowners only think about their air conditioner when it stops working. But regular maintenance is essential to help prevent those unexpected breakdowns. Alltemp’s Maintenance Plans are the most cost-effective and convenient way to ensure that a seasonal tune-up is never forgotten, keeping your A/C running more efficiently and safely and protecting your investment in your home comfort system.
Improved Efficiency
A well-maintained system uses less energy to keep your home comfortable.
Longer System Life
Proper care helps protect your A/C equipment and get more life from your investment.
Fewer Surprise Breakdowns
Routine inspections can identify small issues before they become larger, more expensive problems.
Consistent Comfort
A regularly-serviced A/C system maintains steadier temperatures and better humidity control so your home feels comfortable even on the most demanding summer days.
Repair or Replace? We’ll Help You Decide

We want to help you get the most life out of your investment in your home comfort system, but we also don’t want you to put money out for costly repairs on a system that’s on its last legs. Our team will evaluate your A/C system, explain any issues it is experiencing, and empower you to make an informed choice that makes the most sense for your home, budget, and long-term comfort.
As a general rule, a replacement may be worth considering if your system is:
- More than 10-15 years old and you’re experiencing issues
- Requiring frequent or increasingly costly out-of-warranty repairs
- Struggling to cool your home evenly
- Driving up energy bills
If an A/C repair is the right answer, we’ll make it happen. If an A/C upgrade makes more sense, we’ll help you explore your options – without pressure.

Extended Warranty Protection
Protect Your Investment Beyond the Parts Warranty
Most manufacturer warranties cover the cost of failed parts — but not the labor to replace them. An extended labor warranty fills that gap, protecting you against labor costs for any mechanical or electrical failure throughout the 10-year coverage term.
| Manufacturer | Coverage | Included |
|---|---|---|
|
| 10-Year Extended Labor Warranty (JB Warranties) | Included |
| 10-Year SystemShield Labor Protection | Included |
|
| 10-Year Extended Labor Warranty (JB Warranties) | Optional |
|
| 10-Year Extended Labor Warranty (JB Warranties) | Optional |
Coverage applies to qualifying systems. Ask your comfort advisor for complete warranty details and eligibility.

FAQs

If you can’t find the answer to your question, feel free to contact us here.
How often should I schedule A/C maintenance?
We recommend scheduling two preventative maintenance services per year: one during cooling season and one during heating season. We highly recommend signing up for an annual Maintenance Plan, which offers the best value and ensures that routine maintenance is never skipped.
What is included in an A/C tune-up?
When our experienced HVAC technicians come out to your home for a cooling maintenance service, they change your air filter(s), clear drain lines, inspect electrical components, verify refrigerant charge, test motor operation, and more. You can find our complete A/C maintenance checklist here!
Why do I need an extended labor warranty?
Your A/C system is a machine, and like all machines, it has a limited lifespan and will likely require some kind of repair over the course of that lifespan. Most manufacturer warranties only cover failed parts – not the labor required to make the repair. Extended labor warranties protect you against the labor required to fix any mechanical or electrical failures during the 10-year term, offering peace of mind and protecting your investment in your new A/C system.
What is a load calculation and why do you perform them?
A Manual J load calculation determines your home’s exact heating and cooling requirements based on factors such as square footage, windows, orientation, insulation levels, etc. A load calculation helps ensure proper HVAC equipment sizing to prevent issues such as high humidity, short cycling, higher electric bills, and general discomfort.
What types of air conditioning systems do you install and repair?
We are experts in the repair and installation of many different types of residential A/C systems, including central A/C, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps and dual fuel systems, packaged units, geothermal systems, and more.
Although we have extensive experience in repairing most brands of A/C equipment, we primarily sell the following brands of equipment from trusted manufacturers: American Standard, Armstrong Air, Mitsubishi Electric, and LG.
How does my air conditioner affect the humidity in my home?
A properly-sized HVAC system will dehumidify your home while it is running and keep the humidity levels within a comfortable range year-round. That said, your central HVAC system is not a dedicated dehumidifier and does not operate the same way as an Aprilaire or Honeywell dehumidifier. Secondary dehumidification is typically needed in homes that suffer from high humidity. High humidity is typically caused by excessive moisture infiltration due to air-sealing issues.
If humidity is a concern, we highly recommend opting for higher-efficiency variable-speed A/C equipment, and/or considering the addition of a whole-home dehumidifier.
Do you work on geothermal heat pumps?
Yes, we work on geothermal heat pumps. That said, we work only on the HVAC side of your geothermal system – not on wells. If you are having issues with your water loops in the ground, you would need to contact your well company.
